Big Data (Data Engineer)

Location: NY

Duration: Long Term

- Data Engineer with a Statistical bend
- Capable of handling large amounts of data
- Can write shell scripts
- Proficient with SQL queries
- Can test models (pricing that were built using SQL/Excel/Access etc.)
- Has a good analytical mind set
- Knowledge of Hadoop, SAS/R is useful
- SQL Server is a platform of choice, but might also use  Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata etc.

PS: Resource who is good with SQL, and good in Java (or) with Statistical tools., becomes Ideal for this position.
