PERFORMANCE TEST LEAD 

Location: Sandiego, CA.

Duration: Long Term

 

Skills/Experience:

Relevant functional and implementation experience of the Performance Center tool, including Vugen scripting.

This is to encompass load, stress, and longevity testing.
Experience with parameterization, correlation, and script customization.
Experience with Oracle 11i and R12 is preferred.
Experience with test plan definition and execution.
Experience working with interfaces across multiple systems: Web Services, Java, Oracle, Citrix, RDP, BPEL, etc.
Excellent written and verbal skills.
Ability to present/communicate project status effectively.
Ability to build a rapport with onsite/offsite team members, including but not limited to Quality Assurance, Technical teams, Functional Analysts and Business team members.
Experience with Quality Center.
Experience supporting a production environment.

 

Responsibilities:

Determine requirements for Load, Stress, and Longevity testing.
Lead and prepare detailed plan for the Performance QA effort across multiple teams.
Develop scripts based on requirements using Vugen.
Execute test scripts using the Performance test controller.
Train QA resources on best practices.
Status and overall test execution reporting.
Audit and review scripts written by peers for correct content and also based on QGloBES QA CoS standards and naming conventions.
Respond and troubleshoot identified defects internally and externally to HP related to system availability, functionality, and performance.
Collaborate across technical, development, functional and QA teams.
Ensure end user satisfaction by implementing Performance Center best practices.
Direct System Performance test team to design workloads that simulate real time usage.
